Laura Coelho
As a creative storyteller and artist entrepreneur, Laura Coelho leads with passion, curiosity, and authenticity to compassionately connect with others. Graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce, Laura has made the most of her undergraduate experience by participating in Jeux du Commerce Central (JDCC), DeGroote Women in Business (DWIB), Greensuits, and MacDance. In her third year, she started her own small business, @KicksByCoelho, on social media where she creates hand–painted, custom–designed sneakers. Having completed internships at Microsoft and Ford Motor Company, Laura hopes to align her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit with her passion for storytelling post-grad. She is grateful to her family – across Brazil, Canada, and Poland – for always cheering her on. The message she hopes to instill in her peers is that it’s okay if things don’t always go according to plan because the best is yet to come. Each day is invaluable, so don’t forget to make today count! |
