Now is your last chance to upload your student card photo and update your mailing address to get your student card in time! Please make sure your photo is uploaded and your mailing address is up to date by August 11. Go to the Mosaic Student Center (Personal Information, Demographics) to do so.
All student cards will be mailed out to Canadian addresses by August 13.
If you haven’t already applied to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), there’s still time to do so! OSAP offers student loans and grants to help students with financial need pay for school. The recommended deadline was June 30 in order to get your funding in time for the start of term, but you can still apply now.
We have created a payment plan option for the coming academic year to help reduce some of the financial stress.
The fall payment deadline is September 25 but you can choose to pay your fees in equal amounts over the four months of each term. No interest will be charged during the 4 months. There will be a one-time deferral fee of $80 for students choosing this option each term. You can only enrol in the fall term payment plan option from September 16 to 25.
Student Services hosted a webinar on “Better Understanding Your Student Account” earlier this month. Go to the recording to learn more about how tuition is calculated, what certain terms mean and more!
Clearing conditions is more than just submitting final grades. For example, you may need to submit final official transcripts or completion of your high school diploma. Double check your offer letter on Mosaic for a list of your conditions.
Remember that you will not receive a final offer of admission. You will, however, receive an email once all of your conditions have been cleared.
Did you receive an entrance award with your offer of admission? Between mid-August and mid-September, your award will be listed under “pending aid” on your student account. Just before the add/drop deadline in September, you my notice that your award no longer shows on your student account. Don’t worry, it just means we’re getting ready to apply the payment to your student account.
Do you need to confirm your enrolment for your RESP plan? RESP enrolment verification letters indicate whether you are registered as a full- or part- time student. You can request one through the Mosaic Student Center, My Academics, Enrolment/Financial Letters. Enrolment verification is only available after you have enrolled in your classes.
Need a form completed/signed by our office? Please create a Service Request through Mosaic and upload your form. Note: Canada Pension Plan (CPP) forms are not accepted until September 8.
Interested in applying for aid & awards? Get familiar with AwardSpring. This new platform makes the aid & awards application process simple to navigate. Complete a personal profile and get connected to opportunities that may be right for you.
You can browse what’s available before then, but you won’t be matched with opportunities until the applications open.
Don’t forget to review your enrolment and timetable throughout this month to check for any changes in your class instruction modes.
