April bulletin: Final exams, term info, payment plans & more!

- Wednesday, April 14 – Classes end
- Thursday, April 15 to Friday, April 30 – Final exams
- Tuesday, April 6 at 9 a.m. – Program plan selections open for Level I applying to Level II programs.

Payment plan
- If you enrolled in the winter term payment plan, your next payment instalment is coming up on April 25.
- Your payment plan will be considered defaulted if payment isn’t received by the designated monthly due dates.
- Spring term payment plans open for enrolment from May 11 to 25.
Refunds
- Have a credit on your student account? You can now request an e-transfer refund if you have a Canadian bank account.
- Learn about international refunds here.
- Email refunds@mcmaster.ca to claim a refund.

Fall 2021 update
- While it is impossible to know exactly how the pandemic will evolve, we are looking forward to September with tremendous optimism that much of our vibrant on-campus experience will be able to safely resume. Learn more in the Provost’s letter.

Spring/summer terms
- Taking courses this spring & summer? Spring/summer term and Intersession course enrolment is now open.
- Spring term runs from May 3 to June 18 and summer term runs from June 21 to August 6.

- Final exams run from April 15 to April 30. Personal schedules are posted in Mosaic. Select the My Exam Schedule tile and click on April 2021 Final Exams. Good luck, Marauders!

Tax forms
- Your 2020 T2202A and T4A tax forms are available in Mosaic.
- 2020 T4As are only issued to students who received scholarship/bursary funding during the 2020 calendar year.
- Click on the “View/Print Tax Forms” tile directly on your Mosaic home page to access your tax forms.
- Need help with your taxes? Mac’s Money Centre offers info webinars and tax clinics to help you learn more about taxes.
Update your SIN
- Your Social Insurance Number (SIN) is needed by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for your T2202 or T4A tax forms.
- If you claim an education deduction and your T2202A doesn’t include your SIN, the CRA may deny your deduction.
- Go to Mosaic and click on the “Update SIN” tile now to verify and update your info for 2021 taxes.

- If you have successfully completed all requirements for the McMaster English Language Diploma (MELD) program, you will be able to download your Program Completion Letter from the Mosaic Student Center starting Monday, May 17. Stay tuned to your McMaster email for future communication.

- Make sure your personal information is still correct in Mosaic.
- Log in to Mosaic and click on the “Tasks” tile to verify your info now.
- Inaccurate or missing personal information can delay payments and tax forms. Update your info today!
