Instructions: Please complete the form below to request a certification letter. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing. Please be aware that if your request requires information from your Faculty (e.g., your expected graduation date) processing times will be longer. Incomplete requests will result in delays and/or will not be processed. Canada Post delivery times vary and are beyond the control of the University. We will make every effort to process your request according to your deadline indicated below but service is limited and we appreciate your patience at this time. Please note: transcript requests are completed through Mosaic.
Students who have recently completed the MELD program do not need to complete this form to receive a letter. You will receive further instructions via email.
This service is only available for undergraduate students. If you are a graduate student, please contact Grad Studies at sgsrec@mcmaster.ca.
We are not sending certification letters through email. Letters will only be issued via mail.

The information is used for the academic, administrative, financial and statistical purposes of the University including, but not limited to, admissions; registration and maintaining records; awards and scholarships; convocation; provision of student services, including access to information systems; alumni; and disclosure to or on behalf of the applicable McMaster student government.
