Protected: OSAP/Government Aid NEW FT

Government financial aid programs like the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) can help pay for your tuition, student fees and other education-related expenses. These programs offer loans (funding you pay back) and grants (funding you keep). OSAP/government aid is available for full-time and part-time students in both undergraduate and graduate studies.

Your OSAP team

Student Services Professionals – Our SSPs can help you navigate the OSAP application process, answer questions and provide information about your course load and OSAP status

OSAP – Processes your application and determines your funding. Managed by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

National Student Loan Service Centre – The NSLSC handles the release of your funding and the repayment of your student loans. Register for an online account with the NSLSC to track your funding and get important information faster.

Calculating course load

A full time course load is at least 60% (or 40% for students with a disability) of a 100% course load for your program. If you’re below this number, you’re considered a part-time student. This is used for OSAP purposes.
